Nav iespējams rediģēt MANIS PAŠA veidotus MS Office failus

Ievietoja: Krampis @ 2009.11.25 16:05

Nesaprotu kas par lietu... Vēl vakar strādājot ar MS Office 2007 viss bija ok, šodien vajadzēja pielabot vienu ar darbu saistītu dokumentu, bet to nav iespējams izdarīt.

Word saka:
"This modification is not allowed because the selection is locked"

Mazliet Googles...
"Actually, there are multiple reasons why a document might say this at the bottom:
1) You are using a trial, or unactivated version of Word - buy the product and activate it
2) some portion of the document may be protected (access via Developer toolbar) - the solution is posted above
3) And this one took me a while... [Office Button] -> Prepare menu has a "Mark as Final" option that makes a document Read Only. If this has been done, there is an icon in the Status Bar (to the right of the Word Count) that says "Marked as Final" when you hover over it. To undo, just go back to the Prepare menu as select the "Mark as Final" option again."

"Success!!!!
I had a look at the registry and found that there is a huge mess with the
Trial version values over-writing anything you do.
Found details at article id 928218...even if you can Uninstall MS Office, do
that and then follow the instructions to delete all traces, especially from
the Registry.
I have now reinstalled and it asked me to Activate and it works!!"
