However, if the USB device works in another computer system, then the problem lies with the configuration of the computer where the device did not work.

Follow the steps below to troubleshoot this scenario and make your USB device work again.


1) If you are using a USB cable with your device, check the cable to make sure it matches the speed of the device. Use USB 2.0 cables with USB 2.0 devices and USB 1.1 cables with USB 1.1 devices. Swap cables and check the device, if this does not work, proceed to Step 2.

2) Next, open Device Manager and look under the heading for USB Serial Bus Controllers. If there is a device with a yellow exclamation mark next to it such as USB Mass Storage Device. Double-click on the entry and check the Device Status. If the status shows something like

B. Right Click on My Computer, click on Properties

ā caur device manager jau mēģināju noinstalēt tad restart datoram un pa jaunam vienot klāt. Diemžēl tas pats. Tikko pamēģināju citam datoram pievienot un viss izdevās. Ak mans stulbais dators... :D

pasties vai lidzi nenaca instalacijas disks tur jabut draiveriem panem tos uzinstale veco vietā (noinstalē>uzinstalē> un tad pārstārtē> spraud klāt) pamēģini vel sprauzt citā portā

nekāds disks nenāca līdz un esmu jau visos iespējamos portos iespraudis :D tas pats

nu tad pameģini kādu draiveri sameklēt netā (vel uz cita datora vari noformatēt savu ipod u.tad meģinaat

Ja jau iet uz cita datora, tad vainīgs tavs dators. Un visticamāk USB porti. Vai tu spraudi pie visiem USB portiem un pie visiem viens un tas pats rezultāts? Man jau liekas ka tur tikai problēma.
Faktiski iPodam bija jāuzrādas normāli.
Elektro.. tev vajag vienu iPod, lai uzzinātu, ka šamiem diski nenāk līdzi un nav vajdzīgi driveri, kā citiem pleijeriem.

a kā es varu noformatēt ja viņš nav pat pievienots? Un pa kādiem draiveriem tu runā? Ja par usb tad tos manliekas jau atjaunināju bet nekas nemainijās :(
bet ko man tad darīt ar savu datoru? Tikai nesakiet ka jāmet laukā un jāperk MAC :D

:D.. nu nē tik traki nē... tik cik normālu datoru tev vajag.
Ko ieteiktu. paņemt pie tā cita datora apdeitot iPod, ja tam nav pēdējā versija virsū un pamēģināt vēlreiz pie sava kompja pieslēgt. Ja tad neslēgsies, tad liec savam datoram mieru un ar iPod neuzbāzies.

Tev viņu nevajag formatēt. Un driverus tev ar nevajg. aizmirsti.

:D:D nja a tavs ipod ir ar iebūvēto mazo cietni ?? varbut tew baroklis pārāk svaks jo mna ir arējais 2.5" cietnis un pie daziem datoriem iet tā kā neiet :( :D ar itkā draiverus nevvar atrast  kaut gan ir usb mass storage device :D

Likt mierā gan nevaru jo uz manējā tak ir visa mūzikas bilžu filmu bibliotēka :D ak nabaga es... :D

nu vēlreiz tev prasīšu vai mēģināji pieslēgt pie katra USB porta.
